Dear Independence Academy families,
Due to concerns regarding winter weather and icy/slick road conditions in the Grand Valley, ALL D51 schools, including Independence Academy, will operate on a two-hour delayed start today, January 31.
This decision was made for the safety of our staff and students.
Before-school programs are closed this morning, but after-school care will be open. Morning half-day preK is closed this morning.
The gates will open for student drop-off at 9:45 and students will report directly to their classroom.
School will end at regularly scheduled times.
