The first Phoenix Family meeting of the year will be on Tuesday, August 26th at 4:30 in the library.

The office would also like to remind families of our dress code. We know it’s hot outside, but please remember that short shorts and tank tops aren’t part of our school dress code. Thanks for helping us keep things comfortable and appropriate for learning.

The walking path is temporarily closed due to construction. Please refrain from sending your child(ren) to school by bike or on foot. Students who walk or bike during this temporary closure will be traveling on the main drive.

Hooray! We had a very successful first week of school. It was so great getting to see our IACS community back together and ready to learn.

Thank you parents for your patience during the pick-up line as we get to know vehicles and students learn the pick-up procedures.

Back to School Night is August 7th 4-6pm.

When registering your student(s) on ParentVUE, please make sure to select the Charter School option.

Only students attending Independence Academy Charter School should be registered under this option.

Do not register your student under any other school, as this will send their information to the wrong location and delay enrollment.

At the end of every school year, the staff gather for a final celebration of the school year. Part of this time is spent recognizing staff for different awards. This year the following staff were recognized:

Hello summer! Thank you, IACS for an outstanding school year. Have a great summer, and we will see you in August. The 8th grade continuation ceremony will be at 10am in the gym. All participants need to arrive by 9:30.

The last day of school is Wednesday, May 21st. Please check the lost and found for missing items this week as all unclaimed items will be donated. Please stop by the office and pick up any meds that your child might have had at school this year.

Join us 4-7pm on May 9th to celebrate all the learning, art, and music that IACS has to offer! Take a look at the silent auction and bid on must-have items. Grab dinner at one of the food trucks available. Listen to musicians and vocalists of all ages as they perform throughout the campus. Be amazed by all the work on display by the students. This is the must-attend event of the entire year!
