About Me
Hello! This is my tenth year as a School Counselor and my third year at IACS. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Master's Degree in School Counseling from Austin Peay State University in Tennessee. I absolutely love being a School Counselor. I am extremely passionate about helping students advocate for themselves!
I teach class lessons, facilitate small counseling groups with parent permission, facilitate peer mediation, I am the 504 coordinator, and I assist all students regarding big emotions. I wanted to name a few of the things your students may learn this year at IACS:
-Zones of Regulation
-How to keep themselves safe
-The difference between bullying and peer conflict
-Kindness
-Coping skills exploration
-Career exploration
-Conflict-resolution
-Growth mindset
