About Me
I'm Mrs. Burris- one of the Social Studies and ELA teachers here at IACS. I teach Social Studies/ELA for the Create team I'm really looking forward to a great year together and wanted to start off by telling you a little bit about me.
I enjoy traveling,watching baseball, and playing golf. In 2019, I married my best friend and we have three retired racing greyhounds named Pirelli, Enzo, and Zelda. I played collegiate indoor and beach volleyball at Colorado Mesa University. In December of 2017, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History with an emphasis in Secondary Education from Colorado Mesa University. In August of 2019, I graduated with a Masters of Arts in History with an emphasis in Education from Grand Canyon University. In May of 2024, I graduated with my doctorate degree in Learning, Design, and Technology from the University of Wyoming. I also hold an ELA credential through the state of Colorado. I am excited to work with your student this year!
