Dear Independence Academy Community,
I want to invite our families and community members to an upcoming Community Meeting regarding the Independence Academy High School application on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the Harry Butler Board Room.
This meeting has been scheduled by the District 51 Board of Education as an opportunity for community members to share feedback regarding charter schools in our community as part of our application process. We hope to have strong parent and community support for the Independence Academy High School application.
If you believe in this opportunity for our students and families, we encourage you to participate. You are welcome to attend and speak in person at the meeting. If you plan to attend, please let us know so we can get a sense of who may be able to join us.
