Chapter 5 Lessons 1 and 2

Complete the Quizizz Activities below to study for the Chapter 3 Test next week. The links are all different, so complete each one.

If you are at home (not in class) for lesson 2-6, you may complete the lesson activities digitally here instead if you want.

We will be having our test on the coordinate plane next week. Complete this study guide by Tuesday, December 8th so we can prepare for the test on Wednesday.

This quiz is on Lessons 2-1(Integers) and 2-2(Ordering and Comparing Rational Numbers). You may use a calculator to turn fractions into decimals.

Before we begin topic 2, we are going to review some skills from 5th grade to make sure we are ready. Complete this assignment, then watch the Zoom lesson to check your answers.

We will be having our topic 1 test on Thursday, October 8th. In order to review the skills we have learned this chapter and prepare for the test. Please complete this study guide before Wednesday, October 7th. We will go over the answers on the 7th in class (this will also be on Zoom, recorded and posted).

If you are working at home today (Thursday, September 10th), you will complete this document in Kami and submit it here. If you are at school, just upload a photo of your completed scavenger hunt. Calculators ARE allowed.

1. Open the scavenger hunt recording sheet in Kami.
2. Open the decimal scavenger hunt cards and begin with card 1, Once you find your answer, go to the card with the answer from your current card on it to complete the next math problem. Make sure you record your answers in the correct boxes. Keep going from card to card until you are finished.

If you complete the scavenger hunt correctly, you will complete all problems and find your answer on another card in the circle at the bottom right corner.

Before we begin topic 1, we need to review adding and subtracting decimals. One way many adults use decimal addition and subtraction in their life is by keeping track of their finances (including income and expenses). In this activity, you are going to help keep track of a family's money to see if they have enough saved to go to Disney World.

2. Complete the "Pay the Bills" activity- attached with Kami.

In class we only finished Week 1, so we will do week 2 on Monday :)
