6A STEAM/Study Skills Assignments

Turn in all your challenges under this assignment. It is in this assignment that you will submit your google slides and then unsubmit each week.
Do not put off your challenges till the last minute! Keep up by doing a minimum of 100 points per week.

Submit a picture of your totem. This totem will be with you the whole challenge. You must be able to take it with you for adventures and include it in all your records of your completed challenges.
KEEP track your totem it is your friend for the next for weeks.

Given two seemingly unrelated items, can you make a connection between them? For example, a number of possibilities arise when asked to make a connection between grass and a book… Come up with as many connections as possible between the following two items, a sign and a tree.

Make a list of ALL of the items in your house that are plugged in and turn it in.
If it doesn’t need to be plugged in why is it? Ask a parent if you may leave the item unplugged until it is needed again.
Leave a smiley face next to the items you unplugged.

For this week you will turn in the same Google Doc you turned in last week. Make sure that as you work on your project you edit your Google Doc and then turn it in on Thursday. Please don’t turn this in early, turn it in on Thursday so I can see your progress throughout the week. :)

The first part of this project involves you deciding on what your end goal will be! You have until the end of the week to send me your final ideas.

This is where you will share with me your Google Doc, which should now contain the planning sheet I created and shared with you all. For this first check-in I need to see that you’ve COPIED AND PASTED the scaffolding/planning sheet to your personal Google Doc. You’ll turn in the Google Docs attachment here and I will just review where you are at that point in time. I’ll attach the planning sheet here again just in case you haven’t yet copied the information to your personal document.
