For writing this week, I thought it would be fun if you wrote some of your memories from kindergarten. I have attached a memory book that you can print and then fill it in. If you do not want to or are not able to print, you can write your memories on regular paper. I have included several pages, but you do not have to do all if them if you do not want to. Choose a couple that are your favorites. Please take a picture of what you complete and upload it. I can't wait to see what memories you have of this last year. Have fun writing!

After watching the video, find a partner and play sight word tic tac toe. You can print the board that is attached or you can make your own. There is no assignment to turn it, but once you have played you can submit the assignment and leave a note saying that you played.

I have attached some directions for a few math games. This week, there is no assignment to turn in. Play these games with a partner and then let me know once you have played them. Have fun!

Watch the video first and then write a card to someone you know. You may choose to write a card to a family member, a teacher, a friend or anyone else that you choose. After you are finished writing you card, take a picture of it to be submitted.

After watching the video, create something using shapes. After your creation is done, take a picture and upload it so I can see all your great projects.

Go on a scavenger hunt around your house or on a walk and write down the different shapes that you see. Divide a piece of paper into two columns. Write 2D shapes on one column and 3D shapes on the other column. Write down the item you see and the shape that it is. Happy shape hunting!

I loved your opinion stories you wrote last week. This week we are going to continue working on opinion writing and we are going to practice using an opinion sentence starter. Please watch my video first and then choose a new topic to write a story about. Complete the graphic organizer first, and then write your story. Start your story with an opinion sentence starter and then write two more sentences that support your opinion.

After you have completed your story, please scan or take a picture of it and upload it to be turned in. I can't wait to see what you all write about this week.

Students please watch the videos on opinion writing. Choose a topic to write about. For example "My favorite book is......." and give 2-4 reasons why you like this. You can fill in a graphic organizer first to get your ideas before writing your sentences. You should have at least three sentences when doing this assignment. 1st- State your opinion about your topic. 2nd and 3rd sentences need to tell me why you like, think or believe this. Draw a picture to go with your story. Take a picture of your work and upload it if you can.

Hello students. Please watch the two videos before doing this assignment. Watch Ms. Lee's magic "e" lesson first. Then you can watch the fun cartoon video for extra. After watching the videos take the words from the list at the bottom and write each word, practice sounding it out and then add the magic "e" to the end of the word and re-read the new word that you have made. Remember that the magic "e" makes the middle vowel sound say its own name. You can also try the magic trick with a white crayon and a light colored marker if you want. Take a picture of your work and send it to me if you can.

Students please watch the video about adding details to your writing. After watching the video try writing three sentences. Use the duck picture I posted in the video and come up with your own describing words to add details to your sentences. First sentence make it simple. Second sentence add one describing word, and the third sentence add more details and make it exciting. Take a picture of your writing if you can and attached it to the assignment. Remember to click the turn in button when your are finished.
