About Mrs. Lineback

Inspired by my kindergarten teacher, Mrs. White, I soon began my career at age five, teaching to my stuffed animals!  My love of teaching stayed with me all through my school years and I received my B.A. in Liberal Studies in 2001 and teaching credential in 2004, both from California State University, Fresno.  Since then, I have taught kindergarten through eight grade, including outdoor science education and ELA/Math intervention, in both public and private schools in California, Hawai'i, and Colorado.  I am grateful that my teaching journey has led me to IACS.  This is my second year here and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!
When my husband retired from the Marine Corps in 2013, we decided to settle in the Grand Valley.  Camping, traveling, skiing, hosting exchange students, and spending time at home with our farm animals are some of the activities that we enjoy with our two children.

Our science curriculum is KnowAtom.  To access student interactive activities, please click on the link: https://www.knowatom.com/interactive-simulations.  Other resources will be sent to you when appropriate.  We will utilize their on-line and interactive socratic dialogue, called SocraCircle, to connect students, no matter their location, to each other in an open discussion about given science topics.
