Welcome to the wonderful world of STEAM!
Independence Academy is home to the Phoenix Foundry, our makerspace that encompasses over 2,000 square feet of space! I have been given the honor of getting to oversee the Phoenix Foundry. For more information about the Phoenix Foundry, click on the link above.
This year I will be teaching classes in the Phoenix Foundry.
During the fall semester, 6th grade will take Foundry Fundamentals 1, 7th grade and 8th grade will take Foundry Fundamentals 2, in addition I will be offering a combined 6th/7th/8th grade Foundry Manufacturing class. I will also teach a 6th grade academic success class that will help adjust to the crazy world known as middle school. I will also be teaching 2nd & 3rd grade STEAM classes.
